FEATURE RABBITS FOR ADOPTION TODAY

RABBITS FOR ADOPTION

Today we are posting a bonded pair of rescue rabbits at The Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary in Rushforth NSW which is near Grafton in the Clarence Valley in the Northern Rivers area which covers Grafton, Lismore, Casino, Yamba, Maclean and other areas listed below.
INTRODUCING "KEVIN MILKSHAKE" and "SMOKEY"
KEVIN MILKSHAKE can hold his bunny ears in many different positions! See photos below.  He is a very small Dwarf Rabbit, a desexed male and is fully vaccinated, worm and mite free and has excellent teeth.  He is curious and very friendly and you can go right up to him and interact with him or pick him up.  He came to the Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary a few weeks ago after a lovely veterinarian brought him in.  KEVIN MILKSHAKE had been dropped off at her veterinary clinic to be put down.  She couldn't do that so she brought him to be rehomed.  If you are interested in adopting this dear little rabbit call or text Kim Cooney on 0416 062 947 with your name and location.

BELOW ARE PHOTOS OF BEAUTIFUL SMOKEY

Adding a New Rabbit Run Today

Our "Rabbit Roustabout" Evan is building a new Rabbit Run off the lower end of the Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary today.  It will be post and wire and have a 3x3 shelter with iron roof and 3 iron sheeting sides with shelf and ramp. The floor of the shelter is cement and the run will be out on a grassed area. The shelter has wire on front and a 3x3 awning out from the shelter.

WE WELCOME YOUR COMMENTS ON THIS ARTICLE.  ADD COMMENTS BELOW...

This new shelter and Rabbit Run will be great for new arrivals and SAMMY can go in first when she returns from the vet today.  SAMMY is a chocolate and white LOP.  She recently came up from Sydney to reside in the Australian Bush with the other rescue rabbits here at the Rabbit Sanctuary.

I am a REX RABBIT in a velvety chocolate and dark tan colour. I am a talking point  for the visitors to the Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary due to my incredible REX RABBIT FUR. I love people and you can come right up to pat me but I'm quite lazy so if you want to feed me a carrot please bring it over to me:)

Rabbit Tree House

The "RABBIT TREE HOUSE" is a feature in each of the big Rabbit Runs at the Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary. These bunny shelters provide tons of shade and protection from weather.

Rabbits run up the ramp to enter. They love sitting up high lazing about and watching the view below. The rabbit food stays fresh and dry in the big hopper type feeder purchased from the pet shop at South Grafton with a generous discount.

Our 'Rabbit Roustabout' Evan constructed them with our own timber, pallets from Bunnings and iron sheets thanks to Miranda.

If you would like one in your backyard for your rabbits (and children!) let us know and we will construct for you for a donation for the rabbit rescue fund. Phone Kim on 0416 062 947

BLUEY BUNNY ADOPTED

Susie a local Grafton pet minder came out to visit us as she made a wonderful and charitable decision to adopt a rabbit from The Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary. She chose BLUEY a young chinchilla rabbit as a friend for her own Dutch Lop cross rabbit. He will live freely in her fenced backyard with access to various cosy shelters and best of all a little "Rabbit House" by HoundHouse.
