Panacur 100

Panacur 100 is an oral drench that can be used to worm rabbits for roundworms.

Keep out of reach of children FOR ANIMAL TREATMENT ONLY Panacur® 100 Oral broad-spectrum drench for the management of internal parasites in cattle, sheep, goats, horses and deer. It is effective in rabbits for internal parasites and in particular for the protozoan parasite, Ecuniculi.

Rabbits are treated with Panacur 100 'off label' as the product is not registered for rabbits. The oral dose rate of Panacur 100 for rabbits is 0.2ml per kg.

PANACUR 100 is a free flowing white broad-spectrum oral anthelmintic for the treatment and control of mature, immature and egg stages of roundworms, including type II Ostertagia and lungworm. PANACUR 100 contains 100mg/mL of Fenbendazole. ADMINISTRATION By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice if necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label.

PANACUR 100 is given as an oral drench, and can be used through any standard drench gun.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT PANACUR 100 contains fenbendazole, a member of the Benzimidazole family and is effective against internal parasites sensitive to this family of drenches. • Resistance may develop to any chemical. • Correct drenching techniques should be used. • Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce development of resistance.
• It is advisable that a resistance test be conducted regularly when using any parasite treatment.
• A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment.
• Dose the mob to the heaviest animal by liveweight in each group. Do not under dose.
• Check the accuracy of drench guns regularly.

Meat: Sheep, goat, cattle and deer producing meat or offal for human consumption must not be sold for slaughter either during treatment or within 10 days of the last treatment. Horses: 63 days. Milk: Cattle: Milk intended for sale for human consumption must be discarded during treatment and for not less than 8 milkings (96 hours) following the last treatment. Sheep & Goats: 35 days following the last treatment.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS Warning may cause damage to the liver from repeated/prolonged oral exposure at high doses. Do not breath vapour. FIRST AID If inhaled remove to fresh air. For advice contact the National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or a doctor. DISPOSAL Dispose of unused product through Agrecovery Chemicals.
