HANSEL & GRETEL

Rabbit Furniture

RABBIT FURNITURE

Rabbit furniture makes life more comfortable and interesting for pet rabbits. Every rabbit should have a large area of some square meters with furniture to sit under, to hop through, to climb on, to hop around. Rabbits need en enriched environment so they don't get bored. They need exercise. A cage is cruel.

Phone number to adopt a rabbit

The Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary phone

is always busy but please do phone or text the number to adopt a rabbit 0416 062 947

A rabbit makes a wonderful house pet. He or she will stick with you in the house and in the yard.
Rabbits that you adopt from The Rabbit Rescue Sanctuary are desexed.

Your rabbit should be desexed to protect it and to make it a better pet. A desexed rabbit is more settled and unstressed.

Buy a Rabbit

For a low $25 you can buy a pet rabbit that is:
** Desexed
** Vaccinated
** Parasite treated so worm free
** Teeth good
** Vet checked and healthy
** Microchipped
** Females are ear tattooed (to show they are desexed)

All the above saves you hundreds of dollars.

Rabbit Aggression - Rabbit Biting

We have quite a bit of enquiry from people whose rabbit is biting them all of a sudden.

Things that can cause a rabbit to become aggressive:

* The big one is not desexed! An undesexed rabbit is most likely to become aggressive
* Territory is the second big one! Rabbits are incredibly territorial. They will fight to protect their territory.
* Food - rabbits will squabble over food
* Space - if there is not enough room then rabbits may fight
* Resources - ensure there is enough of everything for your rabbits

Adopt a Rabbit

Adopt a rabbit or two! Our rescue rabbits come to you desexed and vaccinated for $25.

We have giant rabbits, mini rabbits, mini lops, dutch rabbits, white rabbits, brown rabbits, Netherland Dwarf rabbits, harlequin rabbits, black rabbits and many combinations of colours!

Most of the bunnies are under one year of age. That's because most rabbits are abandoned before they reach a year old.

Rabbits love to be with people so set up a playpen in the home so your family can interact with the bunnies.

Rabbits love a friend. They are herd animals. They must have a member of their own kind to talk to and cuddle with when you are not around. Let's face it, you will not be with your rabbit every minute of the day and night. There are many sad, lonely, scared bunnies imprisoned in hutches in backyards all alone.
